Chris Getman '64 celebrates 50 years in The Bowl

At the tailgate before the Yale-Princeton football game on November 15, 2014, Terry and Marya Holcombe surprised Chris and Toddie Getman with an authentic pair of seats from The Bowl that were removed from the President's Box in a 1998 renovation.  In making the presentation, Terry said, "In perhaps his greatest accomplishment, Chris has attended 50 percent of the games played in The Bowl, on this its 100th anniversary!"  Chris, who was genuinely surprised, remarked, "Toddie, these seats are going to look great in the living room!"

Other classmates in attendance were Tony Lavely, Jon McBride, Steve Norman, and Pete Truebner.
