Samuel Nicoll "Nick" Benjamin, Jr.


Nick Benjamin

March 11, 1943 – December 15, 1994

Nick Benjamin was born and grew up in New York. He entered Yale after St. George's School. He was active in Phi Gamma Delta, and with the Yale Scientific Magazine. He also maintained a ten-foot-long, fifty-pound boa constrictor in his Pierson room.

After college Nick served four years with the U.S. Navy. He then joined the Irving Trust Co. He married Judith Baldwin, completed the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School, and moved on to Morgan Stanley.  He and his family lived in Peekskill, NY, where he was active in the Presbyterian church.

Nick was survived by his wife and three children, Steven Nicoll, Blair William, and Laura Elizabeth.
