Douglas Craig Nohlgren, 49, of Chicago died Thursday at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. A lawyer who specialized in employment and immigration law, Mr. Nohlgren was a partner at the Chicago firm, Tenney & Bentley. A native of Salem, Ore., Mr. Nohlgren and his wife, Susan, served in the Peace Corps in Ethiopia from 1964 to 1966. He graduated from Yale Law School in 1969. Other survivors include three daughters, Laura, Lynn and Bethany; his mother, Jean; two sisters; and a brother. Visitation will be private. A memorial service will be at 5:30 p.m. Sunday in St. Paul and the Redeemer Church, 4945 S. Dorchester Ave.
