An email from Steve Klingelhofer '64 and Jan Truebner, 55th Reunion Planning Committee

Class of 1964 55th Reunion:

Memorial Service & Surviving Partners

January 15, 2019

Dear Classmates and Surviving Partners,

As you know, our 55th Reunion is coming up — May 30-June 2, 2019. This event is being designed to engage participants in learning, in sharing challenging conversations, and — probably most important — just spending time with one another.

While many partners of classmates have attended reunions over the years, this year our Class of ‘64 reunion planners have made a special effort to invite and include surviving partners of our classmates. Jan Truebner, whose husband Peter Truebner ’64 died in 2015, is organizing the participation of surviving partners. Jan wrote to surviving partners last October that "this is an occasion to meet old friends and make new ones." It’s also an opportunity to participate in the varied and stimulating programs our planners are providing for attendees.

Thanks to generous support provided by classmate Jim Rogers, surviving partners and their guest will attend the reunion at no cost. The reunion fee is waived, and on-campus housing is available at no charge.

In addition, classmate Steve Klingelhofer is planning a Memorial Service on Friday May 31 to honor all deceased members of the Class of ‘64, and to remember by name those who have died since our 50th Reunion.

Additional information will be sent before long. In the meantime, if you are a surviving partner and have any questions, please contact Jan at jtruebner@aol.com or 203-722-4868.  We all hope you will be coming!

By the way, Class Secretary Tony Lavely has just posted the March-April 2019 Class Notes on our Class website. Have a look.
