Class of 1964 55th Reunion:
Update on the Thursday afternoon panel,
Conversations, and Kaleidoscope of Passions

February 1, 2019

Dear Yale ’64 classmates and friends,

We’ve always known that classmates come to reunions to hear other classmates talk about significant issues in the world, and we’ve gone a little over the top to attract classmates and friends this year. The Thursday afternoon panel consisting of Len Baker, Paul Steiger, and Wally Winter will address three different aspects of the current political and cultural chaos.

The Friday afternoon Conversations host 27 topics with facilitators on a wide range of provocative personal and civic issues. The impressive list can be seen here.

On Saturday afternoon, we look forward to a first-rate reprise of the successful Kaleidoscope of Passions from our 50th. We’ll enjoy some returning stars such as Sam Francis, who promises a repeat of his graphics extravaganza with “Facts Matter.” And we will all be particularly excited to know that Harvey Geiger will be back with “More Sex in Cars.” Newcomers step forward as well, such as Jim Rogers aka "1964's Phileas Fogg," and Al Rossiter providing a window into “Therapeutic Writing Behind Prison Walls,” and surviving partner Nancy Upper exploring “Power of Ampersand.”

Mark your calendar — our Reunion runs from May 30 to June 2 — and look for the registration package which should arrive by email in 3 to 4 weeks.
