Chris Getman ’64 will program music on NPR radio on July 6

At a WNPR Symphony auction, Chris Getman purchased the right to program an hour of music on the Kate Remington show on July 6 at 10:00am. You can “stream” it live by going to www.WSHU.org on July 6 and hitting the “LISTEN NOW” button. WSHU is 91.1 FM. They also have an all-talk station at 89.9.

Chris comments:

We’ve put together what I think is going to be an interesting program which will feature work by Ezra Laderman, former dean of the Yale School of Music, selections from Sally Tyler (the widow of Cheever Tyler ’59), Joy Ford, a longtime NHSO board member, William Boughton, retired Music Director of the NHSO, my wife Toddie, and myself. Selections will range from Beethoven to the Modern Jazz Quartet.
