March 31, 2021

From his home in Atlanta, Tony Lavely attended a Zoom event on March 31 co-sponsored by the Yale Club of Washington D.C. and the Yale Club of Georgia.

The Zoom meeting featured Congresswoman Carolyn Boudreaux ’92, from Georgia’s 7th Congressional District.

The discussion focused on the role and responsibilities of politicians in social justice reform, especially voter suppression.

Before she was elected last November, Bourdeaux was a professor of public management and policy at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University. At Yale, Boudreaux earned degrees in History and Economics.
