Tony Lavely ’64 completes six years on Yale Alumni Fund Board

February 23, 2022

On February 7, Tony Lavely attended (via Zoom) his sixth and last board meeting with the Yale Alumni Fund. He wrote: “For four of the six years (before COVID), we met at The Yale Club of NYC. I enjoyed seeing members of other Yale classes and meeting current faculty and administrators. We even had a few wine tastings via Zoom!”

Tony added: “Among the many interesting developments during my six years on the BOD were:

  1. The development of Give Campus, an online tool that makes it much easier to stay in touch with donors
  2. The launch of ‘Yale for Humanity’ in 2021.”

Kai Lassen, who is serving on the YAF Board for a second time, still has four years to go in his current term, so the Class of 1964 will continue to be represented.

Special thanks to Ward Wickwire, our 1964 Chair of Agents, and the twenty-three 1964 Class Agents, without whom the YAF would not be successful. If other Yale 1964 class agents have interest in serving on the Yale Alumni Fund Board, please contact Tony Lavely and he will nominate you.
