Tommy Martin, Yale Class of 2021, is the 1964 Summer Intern at Urban Resources Initiative. The Class of 1964 has supported summer interns at URI for 10 years in memory of Strachan Donnelley ’64 (1942-2008).

Until mid-July, interns were unable to work in the field due to COVID-19 guidelines, so Tommy worked remotely during that time.  When those restrictions were lifted, Tommy and the other interns were able to do field work in support of the New Haven Community Greenspace Program following strict COVID-19 guidelines.

Tommy Martin lives in Silliman College and is majoring in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology. Tommy is from Tacoma, WA.  He is developing a video report of his summer internship at URI, and it will be posted here soon.
