On October 9, Bob Buchanan ’64 and a panel of four other Vietnam veteran classmates talked about their experiences on active duty during the Vietnam war. The audience of classmates and spouses numbered 57.

The panel included:

The talk was part of a series of talks by classmates on various topics organized by Joe Wishcamper ’64. The Q&A session which followed the talk was moderated by Sam Francis ’64, also a Vietnam vet (Lieutenant, U.S. Navy).

The panel was selected from the 65 classmates who served in Vietnam. You can see a list of these veterans here.

The following 85-minute video starts with a 5-minute introduction by Joe Wishcamper, followed by 10-minute presentations by each panelist, followed by 40 minutes of Q&A, followed by a quick wrap-up by Class Secretary Tony Lavely.
